The NYF has driven amazing changes in Nepal over the last 15 years, not the least of which is the establishment of 15 nutrition centres around the country. Rupert and the Capsicum Re Foundation team raised $500,000 in 2017 for the completion of a vocational school in Kathmandu.
Whilst training for his first ultra marathon, Rupert met Wayne Hoyle who became an advisor and close friend. Wayne, a member of SBSA, introduced Rupert to the charity and he has since become involved in a number of SBSA related projects, including Project Possible with Nims Purja (of "14 Peaks" fame).
Friends made over the years of playing and supporting rugby have an annual dinner and have raised £100,000 for Naomi House over the last 20 years at this event. A proportion of the funds raised on the SWCP Challenge will be donated to this amazing charity.
It's Time is a charity to assist young adults who have suffered the loss of a parent. It's Time provides support and an inclusive community as well as helping educational establishments and employers to support them better. Dee nominated the charity in support of Nia Roberts, a trustee of It's Time.
